I heart and I share

‘Shangri-Lâ temple’, a black tea from Nepal with harmonious notes.

Tea was implanted in Nepal during the second half of the nineteenth century, under the leadership of its Governor.

The ‘Shangri-lâ’ plantation (meaning the Kingdom of ‘Paradise’ in Chinese) is located among the high altitude plantations, at approximately 2200m feet above sea level and offers a tea of a quality comparable to the bests Darjeelings.

Close to its Indian cousin, using the same methods and know-how than its neighbors, this tea from the Dhankuta Region in Nepal offers natural notes of hazelnut, cocoa and underwood, with a surprising and bold floral bouquet that will seduce the most perfectionist amateurs of black teas.

It is a tea of character, less astringent than a Darjeeling tea, with an intense gustative richness.
A very affordable tea that will bring you to the heights of the Himalayas through a simple cup of tea!
